Hi, I'm Paige
I'm an author and certified master life coach who believes that being kinder to yourself can change how you experience your life.
Through my books, my Grace Notes blog, and coaching, I help women quiet their inner critics, trust themselves, and make choices that honor who they are.
I don't believe you need to be fixed.
I believe you're already capable of creating a life that feels more like your own and that learning to trust yourself isn't something you accomplish by thinking about it. It's something you practice.
That's the foundation of my writing and coaching.
Three Ways to Practice. One Way of Living.
Practicing Enough: Our Thoughts
We begin by noticing the stories we tell ourselves. Stories that come from the expectations, the shoulds, and the beliefs that whatever we're doing, it ought to be more.
We practice questioning those thoughts and deciding for ourselves what is genuinely enough.
Staying True: Our Feelings and Choices
We practice listening to ourselves, recognizing what we're feeling, and understanding how those feelings influence our choices. We learn to notice where fear is driving our decisions and when we're choosing from love and what matters to us. We also learn that feeling afraid doesn't necessarily mean we're making the wrong choice.
Showing Up Well: Our Actions
We practice in our relationships, our work, our daily responsibilities, conversations, and decisions.
We take action. We experience the results. We learn, adjust, and try again. We don't wait until we trust ourselves completely to begin. We build that trust by showing up and discovering what we're capable of.
These three practices aren't a checklist. They work together and we return to them throughout our days, weeks, and months as they become how we practice living.
We practice enough. We stay true. We show up well.
So we can do the things that matter.
That's what connects my books, my Grace Notes blog, and coaching. They are different ways of exploring the same ideas.
How I Got Here
How and why I became a life coach and then an author
For years, I had a life coach who walked me through many seasons of my life. Her support was gentle, consistent and exactly what I needed. She was a kind of north star in the years when my life held more challenges than clarity.
She retired.
I had no Plan B.
No back up coach.
So I came up with one. I’d get certified as a life coach.
For myself.
While I was getting certified, I practiced on a handful of brave women.
Bless them. Truly.
Watching their transformation in those early conversations reminded me of my own experience with coaching. They began to see possibilities, question old beliefs, and make changes in their lives.
Then something unexpected happened. The work changed me, too.
I loved the conversations. I loved watching women discover what they already knew and begin trusting themselves enough to act on it, so I took on a few clients.
Then I took a class and learned to build a website.
I started blogging.
I completed a master-level certification.
I wrote a book.
And then another.
And then…another.
IN. ONE. YEAR.
I found myself standing in the middle of a business that feels like home.
Writing and life coaching have given me energy and purpose that I didn’t know I was missing. Helping women trust themselves enough to live the lives they want to live is work I love.
How I Coach
I believe you're the expert on your own life, even when you've forgotten how to listen to yourself.
My job is to help you hear yourself again.
Together, we look at the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be influencing your choices. We notice when perfectionism, people-pleasing, fear, or old expectations might be getting in the way.
Coaching doesn't stop with understanding. We practice. We make decisions. We take action. We notice what happens. We learn from the experience. We approach change with kindness while still challenging ourselves to grow.
I'm here to help you become more confident in your ability to lead yourself, because the goal isn't to need a coach forever. The goal is for you to learn to trust yourself and have resources available when you want additional support.
