What Ripples Out
Oct 15, 2026
Our thoughts travel faster than we realize.
How we think ripples out to how we behave. -Robin Wall Kimmerer
That sentence is so much like a Clarity Loop. Our thoughts create feelings. Those feelings influence how we act. Our actions react results and those results often strengthen the story we started with.
If I think there is plenty to share, generosity becomes easier. If I believe I am already enough, I can listen, encourage, and bring what I have.
If I believe I am not being judged, I don’t have be defensive or hold back.
Our thoughts do not stay tucked away inside our heads. They come with us to the dinner table, the meeting, the grocery store, and the front porch.
They ripple outward.
It makes thought work twice as powerful than we may realize.
When we understand the connection between our thoughts, and our actions, we have more agency. We can pause before an old story chooses our next move.
We can choose a thought that helps us show up with more generosity and courage. When one person shows up well, it often becomes easier for someone else to do the same. That’s how one thought becomes a ripple.
This week, notice one thought you are carrying into the rooms you enter. Pay attention to what it helps you create. If you want to tell me about it, hit reply.
I’ll be cheering you on,
